Father and son, Tommy and Bob… on the same day, they both earned their UKC Championship!

It was a great weekend for the Marjani basenjis and miniature dachshund. Jazz completed her UKC championship title, Bob and Tommy are close to completing theirs, and Gloria was Group 1 in the scenthound group at each of the 4 shows – Anna and Isaiah took turns showing her to this placement. Anna and Isaiah also showed in Junior Showmanship and did a fabulous job!
For the first time, I went and showed at a UKC conformation event. Gloria went Best of Breed and Group1 (Scenthound) at both shows. And Tommy went Best of Breed and took a Group 1 at one show. Gloria made people laugh when she rolled over in the ring, asking for a belly rub. It was a good day!
Gayles pups are now 23 days, with open eyes and ravenous appetites.
Maddie’s pups are about to have their eyes open, and are all of 13 days along….
